The
Electronic Financial Forum was created by the Electronic Financial
Services Council to serve as an educational forum for financial services
companies, and firms providing support to the electronic financial services
industry. The EFSC and its members believe that the Forum will be
important to the enhancement of electronic financial services and to the
establishment of the infrastructure that is needed to facilitate this area
of electronic commerce.
The Forum is a series of monthly
teleconference meetings at which members of the Forum will receive
in-depth presentations on important issues in the development of
electronic financial services and products. Forum presentations will
include:
- How

Industry Standards for Electronic Signatures
- Privacy
Rules Impacting Electronic Delivery of Financial Services
- Storage
and Retrieval of Electronic Records
- Aggregation
of Customer Data
Forum
members will also receive updates on Federal and state legislative and
regulatory developments affecting the delivery of financial services in
electronic commerce, covering areas such as financial and Internet
